CM&T is Sibelius Academy centre dedicated to music technology teaching, artistic work and research. CM&T hosts both MMus and BMus+MMus degree programs in music technology.
The main area of teaching / learning are:

- Music recording and production
- Film music
- Media and sonic arts
- Digital musicianship
- Live sound engineering
- Music technology oriented tool making
- Music oriented digital tools and communication skills
The CM&T works in collaboration with the rest of the Academy. The music technology tuition at the Sibelius Academy begun in 1998. Since then it has grown ties with other degree programs in music, theatre and media art in various schools both in Finnish and international contexts. It will continue to be looking for growth in artistic level, professional skill and scholarly achievement.
